When we think of babies our first thought is about how darn cute they are. Our second thought is of how darn expensive they are! If you plan things out well, you can always recycle your baby items for your next child. Of course not all of us plan things out or sometimes things just happen. :) Hubby & I have two children & planned on waiting until he returned from deployment to have our third, HOWEVER, my birth control had other plans for us. When we found out we were pregnant we hoped that it would be a boy so we could reuse our son's clothes. Once again things didn't work out the way we hoped because we found out we are having another girl. We are super excited but we also have to start all over again in baby items which is hard because things are so expensive these days!
I have been building up my registry (which family & friends can find here) & been trying to determine what items I actually need & what items I just want. One item that I both want & need is a nursing cover simply because they are so helpful in covering your breasts while breastfeeding! There are just so many options & prices that come along with nursing covers, so I decided I would try to make one. I searched the internet for ideas & stumbled upon a great site called Make It and Love it! Here you will find a large variety of 'DIY' projects by a crafty woman named Ashley. The one that caught my eye was the Nursing Cover Clips!
With something as simple as clips, ribbon, & buttons, you can turn any blanket into an instant nursing cover for a VERY small price tag! How Frugalicious is that?!
