Tip-a-licious Thursday/Tasty Tuesday

Normally we post our recipes on Tuesdays but we had a special request for this one. So we decided to post it early, so here you go Karen this one is for you.

Carnita Style Tacos/Cooked on the Grill
You still have time to fire up that grill. You can cook these on the stove but they are so much better grilled.

4 beef Shoulder Top Blade Steaks
1 Pkg Corn Tortillas
1 Onion, Chopped
1 Bunch Cilantro
A few Lime Wedges

For your Marinade you will need:
1 Cup of the Tomatillo Salsa from Tuesdays recipe
1/3 Cup Chopped fresh Cilantro
2 Tbsp Lime Juice
2 Tsp Minced Garlic
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Pepper

1. Combine all the marinade ingredients in a small bowl. Place the beef steaks and marinade in a zip lock bag, turning to coat thoroughly. Marinate in refrigerator for a couple of hours.

2. Remove Steaks and place on grill until thoroughly cooked, turning occasionally.

3. Carve steaks into thin slices. Serve in tortilla. Top with onions, cilantro, a squeeze of lime, and of course more Tomatilla salsa.
