A few months ago I was at a neighborhood exchange (where food, books, & other freebies are given to local military families) & I received powder milk plus a ton of peanut butter. I never used powder milk before so I was pretty sure it was just going to sit in my pantry for emergency use only. As for the peanut butter, there was no way my family could use 8 jars (that's how many I had left after I gave some away) before their expiration date. So after a quick search on the internet I found a recipe for Peanut Butter Balls! Simple, cheap, kid friendly, & scrumptious.
Ingredients - 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup dry milk powder
- 1/2 cup honey
Directions
- Blend all ingredients together (preferably with hands). Roll into balls the size of large marbles and refrigerate. **Optional: roll balls in powdered cocoa, sprinkles, flaked coconut, or chocolate. So many toppings to choose from...Experiment!
