Don't you just love accessorizing baby outfits with matching bows? As you all know my two youngest granddaughters are the same age. Today we would like to share with you some photos that were taken during my mother's California trip. My mother & I were invited by San Diego Bargain Mama to the Head to Toe Women's Expo, where we met some wonderful fellow bloggers. The Frugalicious Team was pampered with VIP treatment, enjoyed inspiration speaker Carolyn Gross, & spent some well overdue mom & daughter time! My mother & I spent the remainder of her trip in Central California visiting family. We had an awesome time!!!

•2 whole chicken breasts, boned and diced •2 cans cream of chicken soup •2 tbsp. butter or margarine •2 green onions with tops, finely chopped •1/4 tsp. curry powder (I always add more as needed) •2 tsp. salt •Dash of pepper •hot cooked rice
Place chicken in crockpot. Add all remaining ingredients, except rice. Cover and cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours, or on HIGH 2 to 3 hours. Serve over hot rice.

I really liked this but my son did not like the artichokes. 3 out of 4 liked this recipe.
1 Sm Onion minced 2 Garlic Clove minced 1 1/2 Cup Ricotta 1/3 Cup Fresh Parsley 2 0z Chopped Prosciutto ( I had left over baked ham so that's what I used) 1/4 Shredded Cheese (I used a Parmesan, Mozzarella mix) 1 Can 14 oz Sliced Artichoke Hearts Frozen Pizza Dough
Use 1 Tsp Olive oil and saute onion and garlic. In small bowl mix Ricotta, parsley, ham, and cheese. Stir in onion and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Roll out dough onto cookie sheet. Spread filling evenly over dough. Top with artichokes. Pleat ends of pie. Sprinkle cheese over the top. Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown about 20 minutes.

3 Cups Frozen Hash Brown Potatoes 1 Cup Sliced Smoked Sausage 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese 1/4 Cup Rotel (use your favorite) 1/4 Cup Diced onion 4 Eggs 1/2 Cup Milk 1/2 tsp Salt 1/4 tsp Pepper
Pat potatoes over bottom and sides of a 9in pie plate. Drizzle butter over potatoes and bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees.
Layer sausage, cheese, Rotel, and onions. In a small bowl whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper until well blended. Pour over layered mixture. Bake for 25 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Just last week I was sent some products from Mixes from the Heartland. When I was first contacted by the company about reviewing their products, I was unsure of what to expect. I was sent 5 different products to try: Sweet Potato Brownie Mix, Lime Pound Cake, Chicken Veggie Soup, Tex-Mex Spaghetti Meal, & Hamburger Pasta Soup.
The Sweet Potato Brownie mix were super delicious. I loved being able to satisfy my sweet tooth with a dessert that is fat, cholesterol, sodium free, and 160 calories per serving. Even my kids loved these brownies & little do they know that these brownies are wayyyyy healthier than your traditional ones. Another great treat that paired with my coffee well is the Lime Pound Cake. The Lime Pound Cake is also fat, cholesterol, and sodium free! Who would have thought that you can eat sweets & not feel guilty?!
Not only were Mixes from the Heartland's cake & brownie mix delicious but so was their Chicken Veggie Soup. The Chicken Veggie Soup is cholesterol free and by simply adding a can of cooked chicken you can make a great meal. It has no meat products and great for vegans. I was surprised that the single 1lb bag made more than enough soup for my family & I (that's 2 adults & 2 bottomless pit kids). I loved all the ingredients in this soup: Brown rice pasta (brown rice flour and bran (organic), dehydrated celery, carrots, red and green peppers, onions, parsley, tomatoes, freeze dried potatoes, black pepper.
Mixes from the Heartland are perfect for people seeking Gluten Free products & those who suffer from allergies because they contain NO eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, oats, barley, rye, or wheat in their factory & there is NO bean flour used in any products. Today I went over my budget by $1.37, but I had to get the makeup. Note**The Duracell $2 Q was for the rechargeable cells, charger, pocket or powerhouse charger batteries but it scanned.
