I apologize for skipping the last 2 week's of Fitness Friday but I had family in town which caused me to miss a few P90X workouts. So I decided to extend my Phase 1 for another week (P90X is broken down into 3 phases each lasting 4 weeks). Long story short, I am now at the end of my first week in Phase 2. I'm so excited because my body is looking so much better. I have lost around 8 lbs & dropped 2 pant sizes - Yayyyyyyyy!
It's been hard to change my diet with 3 kids in the house but somehow I have managed to do it. I try to incorporate lots of veggies as our side dishes versus mashed potatoes, fries, & other foods with little nutritional value. Also I have been using my Hamilton Beach grill to drain fat away from our food. Anyway, healthy eating & working out with P90X 6 days a week has REALLY helped out. I love this workout even though there are days (like Tuesdays aka Plyometrics) when I don't want to do it but I just keep pushin' play! Here is my Day 1 & Day 30 pictures:
