This past Friday, my dad retired from the Navy after serving for 26 years. It was such a bitter-sweet day. He gave a wonderful speech that moved us all. My dad also presented my brothers and I with flags that were flown above the USS Arizona Memorial in Hawaii. The Hawaiian culture is a big part of my dad's life because he grew up there. So there were Hawaiian dancers & even a Haka dancer! It was great!!!

Congratulations to your Dad--and thank you to him for his service! I loved the pictures--nothing like a sailor in his dress whites!
