What I used:
*Strawberries
*White Chocolate baking chips
*wood skewers
*green food coloring
*vase
*small ballon
(Total price was around $6.00)
First, I added a few dots of green food coloring into a cup. Using a small baking brush, I applied the food coloring to the skewers. After washing and drying my strawberries, I inserted the skewers into the top of the strawberry (leafy part) and set them aside. Next, I melted the white chocolate baking chips in a small pot. Once the chocolate was melted, I dipped the strawberries (one-by-one) into the chocolate and used a silicone spatula to swirl the chocolate around the strawberries (to give it a rose appearance), then placed into the vase. After all the strawberries were dipped, I then placed the vase into the refrigerator to set the chocolate.

You can also dip the strawberries into the chocolate, lay them on a piece of waxed paper and refrigerate until the chocolate has set, then place the skewers into the strawberries. Either way, you end up with a frugal yet beautiful Valentine's Day gift.
