Tasty Tuesday

Are you skipping breakfast because you don't have time to make anything? If that's the case, then you should try making some 'Make Ahead Breakfast Sandwiches'. My husband loves these! He just takes one (or two) out of the freezer, pops them into the microwave for a 1.5 minutes, and then grabs them as he leaves to work.

1 pound Pork Breakfast Sausage (or you can use bacon)
1 tube jumbo flakey biscuit
8 slices of cheese of your choice (sharp cheddar tastes great)

1. Bake the biscuits according to package directions.
2. Slice sausage into 8 parts and flatten each portion into a patty about the diameter of a biscuit.
3. Cook the sausage in a pan until brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
4. Cut open each biscuit. Place a sausage patty and desired amount of cheese on each biscuit half.
5. Place top of biscuit on each, then place them on a cookie sheet and freeze them.
6. Once frozen, place them in one large ziploc bag or individual sandwich size ziploc baggies.
