Tasty Tuesday

In honor of National Pancake Day, here's a quick and easy recipe for pancakes or waffles. I use this recipe just about every weekend. It's so much cheaper than using boxed pancake mix (healthier too).

Ingredients:
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 tablespoon artificial sweetener (or sugar)
2 teaspoons baking powder
dash of salt
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions:
  1. In large bowl mix dry ingredients: flour, artificial sweetener/sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add mix milk, egg, and oil together to dry mixture; mix well.
  3. Preheat lightly oiled griddle.
  4. Once griddle is ready, pour 1/4 cup batter (give or take) onto griddle. Cook until bubbly then flip.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
