My family and I are not big pork eats but we do love us some occasional Kaula. Eating this brings back childhood memories! My dad is from Hawaii, so many of our family gatherings included great music and lots of yummy food (including kalua pig). As you can see in the picture below, my family can do some serious damage...
Anyway, this pot of deliciousness is so easy to make and is kid approved. IF (which I doubt) you have leftovers, you can use the leftovers to make quesadillas, burritos, or even nachos!

2-2.5lbs pork tenderloin
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
2 teaspoons course salt
1 tablespoon Braggs liquid aminos or soy sauce
3/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 small cabbage, shredded
- Pour broth into crockpot. Next, rub salt and liquid aminos all over pork, then place into crockpot.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Adding cabbage during the last 2 hours of cooking. Note: If using a pork loin, be sure to check it to make sure it doesn't dry out! I suggest cooking no longer than 10 hours.
- Once cooked, shred pork with fork and serve over sticky rice.
